CEMS Room – NRL, Numaligarh Refinery
The CEMS room at Numaligarh Refinery (NRL) is a blast-resistant enclosure that houses advanced equipment for continuous monitoring of stack gas emissions such as SO₂, NOₓ, CO, and particulates. It includes systems for sample conditioning and data acquisition to ensure accurate, compliant reporting. Designed to operate safely in hazardous refinery environments, the room provides a clean, temperature-controlled, and vibration-free setting, ensuring reliable performance and protection of sensitive instruments.
SWAS Room – NRL, Numaligarh Refinery
The SWAS room at NRL is a blast-resistant facility that contains instruments for continuous monitoring of steam and water quality to protect boilers and turbines from corrosion and scaling. It features a wet panel for sample conditioning and a dry panel for precise analysis of parameters like pH, conductivity, and silica. Its robust design ensures personnel and equipment safety, maintaining stable operation even under potential refinery blast or overpressure conditions.
